City+

For a club who never stops banging on about being world leaders in this and that, they don’t halve make things complicated sometimes.

If I wanted to watch United TV, I’d just flick my TV over to United TV and press a button.

With these jokers, you got to get the match up on your phone and then follow a 20 step guide to try and make it appear on your TV.

Unsuccessfully, I might add with last nights dry run.

I found a stream very quickly on youtube for the first match. I have given up on City+

I binned it off but when I had City+ last year I just used airplay to stream it from my phone to the tv, worked absolutely fine.

Obvs you’ll need an iPhone and an airplay compatible tv to do that.

Since Richard Ayers et al left City digital in like 2013, basically our entire digital output has been abysmal.

I use the app a lot for youth games and that, and it's fucking crap. It barely works.

Not sure if anyone else has said this. But I put City+ up on my iPad and then pull down on the right hand corner and press 'mirror screening'. It plays perfectly on the big telly then.

I simply used the internet on my tv and watched it through City live, I quit after 10 minutes I just couldn't take the commentary.
Supersport PSL though was bang on.

Both games I casted from iPhone to TV. The Celtic game, for whatever reason, would only cast the sound, so it was using the TV as a speaker, phone as a screen. Milan game casted properly, so I had picture and sound both on the telly.

It was in two different locations, so I don't know if it was a telly issue.

I managed to get on my current phone and an older one I use in the house. I really want to watch on our big TV, but sod trying to do owt techy ( I'm an FOC female) at that time of night.

Pisses me off no end when I see Mutv Lfc on the Sky channels......so flecking easy to access.

The app on my tv is showing a message saying the app is no longer operational but I can cast it from my phone.

My phone isn’t casting to my smart tv.

I’m on a shit old IPhone 5 and my tv is Firestick based.

Anyone give me an idiot’s guide to what I need to do to cast please?

Why do people bother watching friendly games at Midnight ?
I'm retired and enjoy it, reading the thread it seems most do it for the challenge of being able to do so, casting here streaming there, the joys of modern technology.

Not from me I’m afraid. I’ve got a pretty new iPhone and a newish decent tele and the furthest I’ve managed to get so far is this:

I’ve given up now. I’ll watch the last two games on the iPad. Which isn’t bad to be fair. Perfect picture and uninterrupted.
