Home kit is all that matters and it's wank.
Yes exactly so did I.Not sure which survey that club source was talking about? I did a survey of 1000 blues and 98% had a preference for white shorts.
I also took part in the City Voice discussion on this seasons kit, and the most prevalent feedback was that the home kit was not traditional enough and that fans preferred the team to play in white shorts.
I think the club source was talking out of his arse.
Think it's the same for every top flight club, they're all trying to get in as much money as possible for sponsorship deals and that means the manufacturers making 3 new kits a season. It's funny, going back 10 or 12 years I remember spurs and the rags getting abuse for changing the kits every season, it's just standard for every club now really.Out of interest, which was the last kit we had for more than 1 season? 2004-06? Can't imagine that ever happening again.
WTF? Seriously.I spoke to someone on Saturday from the club who referred me to the survey which they say indicated that blue shorts were the colours of preference . Surely they got that wrong ?
Blue and white shirts / white shorts / blue or maroon or dark blue socks for me - Home kit .
Red and black stripes - second kit .
Don't mind about third.
So getting to the point of the OP - I hate all of the current sh*te
sn't that make it an awful Manchester City kit?
I fucking hate it. its one of the worst we have ever had. 0/10.

They will when we get our next home kit from Nike - purple with pink polka dots and a tie dye stripe down the front.I just spend my money buying up classic shirts from various sites. They'll never go out of fashion.

To never go out of fashion, surely they'd need to be fashionable in the first place ?
Popular, yes. One or two Umbro were, indeed, pretty good within their world. But I maintain that wearing a replica football shirt, made from polymer and emblazoned with a sponsor's logo, is about as fashionable as carrying a Tesco carrier bag. They were bought and worn en masse by Blues. You believe some of our Umbro gear from 2010 wasn't smart? I don't see the love for our current strips.

Who mentioned despising anyone? The only thing I have against replica kits is their being described as 'fashionable'. After all, you choose to call them a uniform now; uniform representing the very opposite of fashionable - does that ring a bell?So don't attend a match again if you despise us wearing our uniforms. Are you all the same Clone Island jacket and Lacoste polo at every match? I think I've spent a season sitting near you before. The rest of your wardrobe is probably from Primark.
Nothing wrong with Primark. Great clothes at perfectly appropriate prices for what they are. As opposed to £50 for a bit of shiny flammable wafer thin material. So don't attend a match again if you despise us wearing our uniforms.
