Get rid of the rose, put FC on it, and I'd be 99% happy. The eagle never seemed appropriate. Looked like the swastika had dropped off.

the rose is just as important to manchester as other things on the badge imo. walk around manchester and look at some of the old buildings its on most of them, its part of our history.
