....what remaining transfers would leave you feeling reasonably happy come end of the transfer window?

I'd say Lescott and Tevez and that'd be me, a transfer window consisting of:

Stuart Taylor (sub GK)
Jolean Lescott
Carlos Tevez
Gareth Barry
Roque Santa Cruz

Please keep it realistic and not turn it into an Aguero, Fabiano fest which you know deep down simply won't happen.

I'd be happy with that. Good progress imo.
would love to see us get that young lad from leeds-can;t remember his name, villa are after him

Fabian Delph?
is it beckford? i know hes attracted ome attention.

Realistically, I think Tevez is still possible but far from certain.

And that's it for our transfer window.

Am I happy?

No

Sorry mate but I think it's next to certainty that he'll sign. It's almost written in stone

Yeah? Well I have heard that he's asked for more time. Why would he do that?

Re: Realistically....

tevez will happen. Lescott probably. Plus another forward and centre half. With the rubbish we have moved out that will be good business for us this summer.

They said they wanted 4 - 6 more players after Barry had been signed and I doubt Taylor will be included in that list...

Who told you that then? You must be pretty close to old munster head for him to give you that information?

think with the continued silence you can add TERRY to that list, which would make a great transfer window.
then come january sign a top class forward.

Re: Realistically....

I can't believe that it's not been discussed on here that Tevez has asked for more time. It was published on newsnow early this morning in a Sun article that's since been changed. I got two text messages about it rfom different rags today saying he's going to end up at Real. Surely this has been gone over!

I think it's the FA that want more time, the snivelling dicktards.

Re: Realistically....

I honestly dont think its the end of the world if we dont get tevez.

He's a lot of cash & his return for a forward isnt that great, ratio wise your talking equiv to Darren Bent, but for an Eto fee & package.

Cant help but think that the Rags have got a good deal with Owen for £20k per game.

I think that maybe Santa Cruz could end up being the man next year, with either Boj or Bellamy looking better playing off him.

If i were to pick a realistic poacher maybe I'd sniff round Daniel Guiza. Bagged in La Liga & gets into the Spanish squad.

Cant be that poor. Before you start banging on about Greece & Samaras this is a differant kettle of fish I think...
