Alan Ball gets my vote as well. If you believe what Francis Lee had said in his interview last season, he wasn't his first choice. Ball was only appointed as he was let down by his top target whoever that was.

For those that are saying Pearce, think about the state we were in when KK decided he wanted out but wanted paid to leave.....think about the overpaid, over the hill sick notes he inherited, then think about him having to sell our only real goal threats before the start of his two seasons.
He worked wonders just keeping us in the top flight (unlike many others mentioned on this thread).

Is this a wind up?! He spent 5m on Samaras, and then played him left wing! He's 6'5! He brought Dickov back who averages 5 goals a season in his whole career, it's no wonder we had no fucking goal threat! He gave Fowler back to LIverpool because "It was good for the lad" fuck the lad, what about what's good for Manchester City Pearce, you ****?!

Pearce did OK given the conditions he worked under. We improved under Les but we couldn't have failed to.

Coppell, Clarke, Ball in my time.

We didn't improve under Les, we went from 9th under Sven to 10th under Les, with 5 points less. He also spend an extra 150m on mostly shite.

Pearce did awful, irrespective of any conditions. 5m on Samaras is an absolute disgrace. He's the only manager that has ever made me question whether I want to go the game or give my ticket away for free.

Haha I thought you were just making your point louder with the caps lock on! I think Ball is technically the worst manager as he had no idea about a decent player and his results were appalling, and you knew as soon as he took over we were going down.

But Pearce is still the only manager ever who has made me not enjoy and not want to go to City. Even in the 3rd division and the relegation seasons under Clark etc when we were absolutely terrible, I still loved going.

Under Pearce it absolutely bored me to death, and I didn't enjoy it whatsoever. I know loads who sacked their season ticket off after Pearce because it was so fucking turgid.
