I did this last year and got a whole load of stuff such as inflatable bananas, flags and badges etc......in way of an apology.
No consolation for the 3-month delay and damage, but a few Christmas pressies for the kids.

Received mine here in Spain a few days ago, after I got back from Lyon. It must have been sent by Pony Express. End of November/Beginning of December? You cannot be serious!
 
Still waiting, ordered it for my son but not arrived despite repeated calls to customer services...absolute joke
