My worry is the young fans that will never get into the sport because of the prices. A year or so ago the cheapest ticket I could get for a 5 year old for the Hull game was £27. And if I wanted to sign up my 2 kids for this it would effectively be a £50 donation to the club in addition to the cost of tickets.
I'm just not going to pay that for something that offers them nothing of any value.
For a lot of kids going to games is the thing that makes them fall in love with the club. Getting harder and harder to do that.
Agree the worry is you will lose the die hard fans of the future unless you have parents who a wealthy as in going to say 10 games a season and costing around a grand for 2 tickets drinks food transport. Going to city for some fans in the future could be a 1 or 2 game a season..
