CL draw Automated

This RM team you mention. Is that the one that doesn't give up when a goal behind in the last couple of minutes, then scores and scores again in extra-time? Or is it the one that progresses due to their opponents taking shit penalties.
RM may be the organisers' favourites, but they also take advantage of opponents who fall asleep on the pitch.
it was a (failed) attempt at humour mate.

If the pots were drawn today this is what it would look like based on uefa coefficieny

Pot One - Man City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, PSG, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Barcelona

Pot Two - Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid, Atlanta, Juventus, Benfica, Arsenal, Club Brugge, Shakhtar Donetsk, AC Milan

Pot Three - Feyenoord, Sporting CP, PSV, Lille*, PAOK*, Young Boys*, Celtic, Galatasaray*, Union SG*

Pot Four - Midtylland*, AS Monaco, Sparta Prague*, Aston Villa, Bologna, Girona, Stuttgart, Sturm Graz, Stade Brestois

* Clubs yet to advance through qualifying rounds - clubs with highest UEFA coefficients included here

So for example we could play Real Madrid, Juventus, Celtic and Stuttgart
Unlikely we’d play stuttgart as, looking at those pots, we’re almost guaranteed to get one of the pot 1 German teams.
Madrid, Munich, Juventus, Shakhtar, Sporting, Galatasaray, Monaco and Sparta Prague.

Actually, now I think on, won’t each team effectively have an individual draw?
So, if the above was City’s draw, Munich wouldn’t necessarily be playing Madrid or Juventus?

That's right. We'll be drawn first as we are the top seeds(still mad to think we are statically the best team in Europe!!) and the computer will then draw the four teams we play. One from each pot so it's a completely open draw for us.

The only teams we can't play are Arsenal, Liverpool and Villa

I bet it will be rigged so Real avoid any team who can knock them out so they win it again.

The number of times they avoided Barca when they were at their prime only to go onto win it, while Barca went unbeaten against them in the league during the same season is countless.
To be fair they have played us a few times.
Who are the best team

That's incorrect, it will draw the eight teams we play. Two from each pot, and we'll play one at home and one away (also determined by the computer).

There are no groups. Our eight fixtures will be different to everyone else's (and theirs different too) ie if we draw Bayern, the other seven teams we play will be different to the other seven teams they play.

Really? That not how sky reported it(daft fuckers)

So we only play a team once in the group stage and we face 2 teams from pot 1 pot 2 ect?

It could be the conference league, my apologies but the teams knocked out in the league playoff phase definitely drop into on of the other European competitions. Only the teams who finish 25th-36th in the league phase are eliminated from Europe all together

*EDIT* Just checked and they drop into the conference league
uefa.com suggests otherwise. The Europa Conference draw structure implies top eight qualify then play-offs for 9th to 24th. That means 16 teams, and the next round is "round of 16" so there is nowhere to insert the CL cast-offs. This also applies in the Europa League.
It looks like teams losing the play-offs go out along with teams finishing 25th to 36th.
Teams losing qualifying games before the league stage drop into other competitions.
Please note: uefa.com doesn't specifically say those losing in the post-league play-offs go out, but there is nothing to suggest they drop to another tournament.

Real played Barca two times in the semi-final in that period and they won one each.

Real don't seem to get that many easy passages to finals. That would be confirmation-bias thinking. They do get a lot of luck in games, as per their meeting with us last season.

There is no draw rigging, although it would seem that many who do not get the draws that they want seem to find some consolation in believing it to be the case.
