CL Final Venue | Stade de France named as new venue

What a surprise!

UEFA sucking Qatar off again.
Who choose this City/stadium as a replacement?
Was it,
Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the PSG, CEO and current Chairman of the European Club Association?

Sometimes, I can be a real fuckwit!
If only I would read and understand, before letting my fingers do the tapping.

It’s not at PSG, but at “The Stade de France”.

Anyone looked at flights. £63 from Manchester to Paris, fly out Friday night, back Sunday evening. May be worth booking and risk losing the £63. Lots of ways to get to Paris which is good

Some very strange conspiracy theories over UEFA choosing a 80k capacity stadium, which is often used for big events and in a sensible location. It's more suited to the final than St Petersburg was.

To be fair to UEFA. I think they've picked the major stadium that's as far away from where it's all kicking off as possible that isn't Wembley/Cardiff/Hampden.

Istanbul/Budapest could have potential for political/direct action over the current crisis in Ukraine.

France, being the self proclaimed mediators in the conflict is a sensible choice (for a change).

It a decent stadium. The area around the ground is like the French Moss Side so us FOCs will feel at home.

:)
