CL last 16 draw - Monaco

Yeah, we're flying to the Milan airport which is in the city, then when we're flying out its the one which is further out. About an hour on a coach at about €19 I seem to recall from my last trip there. To be fair, when assessing the teams that we could have got, this was the one which was always going to be a little bit of effort to get to.

Assuming it is Bergamo (the Ryanair one), I'm pretty sure its €5 on the coach if you book in advance using Terravision or one of the alternatives.

Not sure about Malpensa or Linate.

Booked Manchester - Marseille £80 15/3 returning Nice via Basel to Manchester £80 17/3 (all with easy jet) and 2 nights in the Marriott in Monte Carlo 250metres from the ground....

got flights to Marsailles on the 14th
is it best to stay there or travel up to Nice? and is there transport arranged for after the game?
I stayed in Frejus just along the coast from Nice in June & thought it was a wonderful place (we were in a caravan on a very large campsite, but one of the mates stayed in a hotel beside St Rafael marine about 5 minutes walk from The station and liked it, while those I know that stayed in Nice spoke highly of it)

Must say though - it did come across to the objective observer as 'being arsey' - MANCHESTER CITY in capitals etc. If you were not being arsey - why feel the need to post......

Perhaps then you need to look at your own interpretation of what you read rather than blaming the poster. And why do you object to the name MANCHESTER CITY being highlighted on a City forum (or am I being "arsey" again?). The fact is, the majority of City fans live in or around Greater Manchester and suggesting that travel from London is the best option for them is ridiculous. If you wish to see "arsey" you should go on Arsenal's forum and post the latest Manchester to Munich fares for them. Or maybe Manchester to Nurnberg ... an even better parallel with London to Turin. After all, think how helpful it would be to them? Why would they want to travel from their own city?

Capitalising 'MANCHESTER' on its own would have been much more efficacious.

You're right! I should have written: This is the MANCHESTER forum instead. There's only one club in this city. ;-)
