Wonder if madrid can’t sell them or there’s been a disagreement between the clubs over away tickets? Chelsea only got 1500ish for the away leg

That is the 5% as it is half empty being refurbed.

Real had until yesterday to return any unsold tickets or be liable for paying for the lot. City likely played hard ball with this knowing they could sell them.

Tickets on sale to Madrid fans, the cheapest are 70 euros in tier 4 which is about £59. Assume that's what we will be charged if the ticket office bothers to let us know!

It is and 70 Euros is the maximum you are allowed to charge away fans since the cap was brought in.

Spanish rarely travel well.

Making an exception for Atletico madrid away at United I cant remember a spanish team coming to the Etihad and selling it out. In the early days when we played Madrid first seasonin CL and Barca a few times in and around 14/15 seasons they didn't travel well so this comes as no surprise.

Sevilla a few weeks ago at West Ham barely brought 1000.
