They are maximising the crowd for the TV audience, making sure the most obvious seats are full, and whilst doing that ensuring they have somewhere to put away fans who end up in the home sections. What really is going on?
Right.
We sold 40,000 in the play off 2nd leg, which was a dead rubber game.
Yet City don't think we'll sell out for a match against Celtic, along with the good priced bundle.
I think the real debate here is why is our support so shit. I know I'll get a reply from someone who travels 600 miles to every home game and has to take 2 days off work before I say this. But at the price they've set the tickets at for these matches I can't believe any season ticket holder wouldn't go to these matches.

Fair enough mate if you can't be arsed.I can. Its not always just about price although this will be the reason for some. Work is a reason, kids being at school the next day another, distance, traffic, no beer etc etc... The three game deal is good but for someone who pays £299 for 19 games this may be too much.
I made three of the six last year despite being in the scheme. Two were due to work and one holiday. I will pick and choose this year and just pay as and when rather than waste money like last year. The three games I saw last year, including the non event against Kiev cost me over £200. I ended up giving my ticket away for one and had no takers for the other two even though I didn't want any money for them.
People who have stopped going because of price who could probably afford the £15 have got used to not going. Once you break a habit its not something you always want to rush back to. To be honest I can take it or leave it. I hate evening kick offs in midweek when been working all day so wouldn't be overly bothered if I didn't go to any.
