I doubt if it would happen with such a serious offence but wasn't there someone living in a church in Hulme(?) to avoid deportation about 30 or 40 years ago? - Different religion of course, but a similar principle.

Certainly was another one played the system over stayed his visa then ran to a church claiming he'd be murdered if sent home (that old chestnut) none of which materialised when returned of course, similar to the one who murdered the police women in Bradford who played the same card then shot off home as the police closed in. Still not caught this devout christian chemical thrower who again worked the system but if I was the police I'd be checking flights towards Afghanistan especially hairy folk in burkas.

Not quite the same thing but even if it was, having to go back four years to find one suggests it’s not something happening on such a regular basis that you’d likely be 100% sure it’s happened here.

I'm angry that this evil person was given permission to live here. Than I read this and as someone who isnt religious I find this ridiculous. Lost for words that they took the words of a priest bloody disgraceful.

My definition of ‘good’ isn’t being a convicted sex offender who committed attempted murder against women and children. Their definition must differ I suppose.

Obviously some person or persons are sheltering him, looked like he needed medical attention, can’t sponge off the state anymore and can’t show himself in public. You’d think even Merseyside police would be able to manage to fall on this one.
