With respect mate this isn’t just a case of not liking someone because they have ‘different ‘ views to me, it’s not liking someone because their views on this subject and others are pretty fucking abhorrent.
Crack on enjoying his shows though, nothing wrong with that, I have in the past myself.

What people fail to realise is that there are at least two Clarksons.

The real person and the cartoon persona he created for TV.

Although it isn't always obvious which one is in the room.

The real Clarkson voted for remain and expressed pro European sentiment at the time of the referendum. But this is overlooked by right wing gobshites, who are emboldened by his daft monologues and proclaim their desire for him to be Prime minister (without any sense of irony).

The fact that he doesn't actually possess the outrageous views or hatred he claims he does is immaterial though, he doesn't care that he emboldens bigots and encourages bullies.

And for the sake of an extra million pounds a year, the already fabulously wealthy arsehole should have turned down the Sun column.

I find it strange that you are beholden to opinion. I can't really stand Clarkson myself, but that's how it works.. Why shouldn't he be able to say what he wants?

If I looked into the lead actors in films and TV then I wouldn't be watching anything on TV if I judged them by my own shoddy out dated principles, the only thing I can do is tune out and enjoy a film without googling **** and bastard.

It’s pretty straight forward. People can and do say what they want, pretty much all day every day. If they say shitty things in a newspaper which is read by millions then they can’t really complain if there’s some blowback.
I’m not sure there’s anything else to add on the subject now without just repeating what’s already been said a hundred times (on both sides of the fence) so I’ll be moving on from the thread now and hopefully it’ll fade away, at least until his next pearls of wisdom.

He's not in any kind of legal trouble.

But his deep cellular hatred of Markle and his wish to have her paraded naked with shit thrown at her defies explanation and in turn people can say what they think about his wishes and desires.

It's not classy to besmirch our queen in her final years of office. Markle's modus operandi remains blatantly clear, as does Herr Harry's with their insider hatchet job to take down the monarchy from the inside out. However a very rude thing to say about her and much prefer him when he's enthusiastically chatting shit about the internal combustion engine.

Anyway I'm over it quickly, just like I was with Fat Jo´s hate sling on dear old Boris wishing him to be covered in battery acid instead of choco-milk shake. Of course being a fat old Harpy, it may have just been for comedic effect, as opposed to hatred filled leftie spittle.

I did not like Clarkson referring to us as Manc Bastard's, so from now on I shall try to raise the bar by referring to Chelsea fans in a more positive light .. "rent boys" is ever so crass. It was also great to witness our progression last night against Liverpool FC attended by their legendary travelling fan base.

I'm not sure that Clarkson puts any real thought into what he says or writes. It comes across as satire to me. He's not dangerous, and anyone who is influenced by him to harm Markle will always find another avenue to do so.
