If Clarkson did punch the other bloke then the BBC will become a laughing stock if he isn't sacked by the disciplinary hearing.
It's really upsetting the yoghurt knitters that he's popular and might get away with it.

Good on him.

This is absolutely the best thing about Clarkson, his ability to send the easily offended into a frenzy. Which he does regularly meaning the soft cocks get more and more offended. It's hilarious knowing he's doing it just to troll them.

If you ask the Eccles Supporters Club people they would tell you that it takes a lot to get me offended. So my objection to this petition is not because I am offended but because I feel that people are being taken in by the hype that a sexist, racist boring person is getting all these people to sign a petition when, as a friend of mine has tweeted, people can't find the time to sign a petition about losing our NHS etc.

So please do not lump me with the 'easily offended' or accuse those people who object of going into a 'frenzy'. The only people I can see getting into a frenzy are the ones jumping on the' oh my goodness we must sign a petition to reinstate this person brigade'!! As I have said, and will keep on saying, Emperor's new clothes, sheep and mass hysteria. :-)

So punching a co-worker is acceptable is it?

thing that's puzzling me is if he's punched someone, why is he not facing police questioning and assault charges? Surely if you were on the end of an assault, you'd go to the police as well as your employer, not just to your employer to get him sacked? So why over a week after the event has he not been questioned?

More power to Clarkson then, anything that gets the lentil eaters frothing at the mouth is hilarious, I can see them all this Morning sat outside their coffee shops in Islington or Chorlton stroking their beards spitting in their Lattes and chewing the edges of their Guardian newspapers, lovely

Perhaps it hasn't been reported to the police.

Nothing to do with the daily mail, the DM hates Clarkson...

Hotel worker who was there says he behaved like a schoolchild and had a tantrum because they wouldn't do him a hot meal at gone 10pm when he arrived.

I wonder how many of those who now stick up for Clarkson would be happy if they were punched at work by a valuable employee who brings in big money and the company went easy on him because they were just an ordinary, easily replaceable employee?

The BBC has acknowledged that bullying is a problem at their organisation.

A reputation for going easy on violent incidents in the workplace is the last thing it needs.
