If this was in any other work place is would have been dealth in a professional manner but it hasn't. Before being investigated Dan Cohen publicly suspended Clarkson and postponed the final 3 episodes of the current series. Does he really need to punish the viewer? Nope. He could have investigated the incident without making this public. If the BBC do sack Clarkson do you think he'd be skint and short on offers? It's the license paying viewer who's suffering from this incident.

So he's just like quite a lot of the BBC's senior staff. He's one of their class, one of their set, part of their old school tie network. They have no reason to dislike him.

The BBC has happily used Clarkson to bring in millions of pounds of good old capitalist profit for years, so it is obvious that money is more important to the BBC than of the silly any lefty nonsense they often come out with.
