Did it flow alright (open to criticism as usual)….........? ;-)Spent a pleasant hour this morning listening to these.
Saw Diamond Head in February 1984 - can’t recall the support.

Wouldn’t criticise any of it TBH.Did it flow alright (open to criticism as usual)….........? ;-)
Is this where we’re going next?Live albums.
Diamond Head, The thing is though they weren't when they released the ep, the first album let them down, pruduction and song choices, then they seemed to change direction, then Sean Harris left. To think the had major label backing early they shoul have been one of the NWBHM bands that with Saxon, Maiden, Leppard made it, or at least got to Tygers of Pan Tang, Magnum levels. Where they just crashed, though left a lasting influence on the thrash bands,Babys or Diamond Head?
Babys produced some decent albums; especially Union Jacks but their pretty boy looks and name didn't attract the kind of rock audience that they needed for major success.
DH probably suffered from being Led Clones...
Fully agree to be fair but I wanted a more calmer and softer middle section (bit like myself nowadays)............Wouldn’t criticise any of it TBH.
A few songs I would put in a different category than CR but I didn’t let that cloud my judgment as the artists would fit in that category comfortably on some of their stuff.
Others bent the definition far worse in my view.
It’s all in the ear of the beholder I suppose.

Top this.
Has to be the original 1974 release. Not the later remastered and augmented.
