Clattenberg..(Crappenberg {merged})

Re: Clattenberg..

I live in Sunderland and was talking to local shopkeeper on Saturday and he said his mate was playing golf earlier in the week and Clattenberg was there. They got onto the subject of football etc, etc, and apparentley Clattenberg said to him that CITY are going to get F**K all off him on Sunday. This is because he supports Newcastle and was appalled at the De Jong incident.

Personally i thought he did ok today, but like Bobby said the Boyata tackle was the same as williamsons in the Newcastle game and he only got a yellow.

I dont know how anybody can have the nerve to talk about a Referee after the decisions we have been given in our last two Games.

The Ref let Nigel off for a bad challenge on Fabregas and then did the same moments later for Song. Every other booking correct. Theirs and ours. The sending off could not be argued and the Penalty was nailed on ( what was Vincent doing when fabregas was going nowhere by the way ?).

All any Football Fan wants from a Referee is to get the majority of the Major decisions right. Nobody should complain about the Referee today.

Sorry completely disagree all the decisions last week were very very debateable. The Blackpool guy went for the ball when he was offside, Their guy fell over for Tevez second and the first was shown to be onside with Tevez in line imo at the very least it was marginal and you could understand how they might have made the decisions they did.

You could not say the same about the decisions today. Yes Chamakh was the last man but it wasn't a goals scoring opportunity in a million years therefore not a sending off. Bookings for our players and then not for theirs. If they were honest decisions then Clattenburg is simply incompetent.

first prize for most deluded blue tinted glasses wearing post ever, rag like attitude following a defeat

from the last three league games we have got much more decisions for us than against, anyone who thinks otherwise is either kidding themselves or is a numpty

yep a true blue indeed, blaming the ref for a defeat

Re: Clattenberg..

if he was a fair ref how is it most people knew he would do us and posted so 3 days before the game.

the guy has form for cheating.

Re: Clattenberg..

Got the sending off right, got the penalty right.

apart from that he was an embarassment to the game, it went like this....

arsenal - 1 tackle (quick chat)....2 tackle (a chat)... 3 tackle (a booking)

city - 1 tackle (booking)

also went like this.....

arsenal - rough but fair tackle but win the ball.....play on

city - rough but fair tackle but win the ball.... foul

and to finish also went like this....

arsenal - need to hardly touch them to award a foul

city - needed to have a player nearly broken in half, just to concider for a split second whether to actually award the foul.
clattenburg 3-0 city.

another job done at the office.

god help us if this bent **** does the derby, it will kick off big time, no because of the fans and the game, because of the referee.

If the F.A had any sense about them, they would keep the pathetic bent, no bollocks, **** of a human being away from the CoMS for that game.

Clattenburg ruined the game. It was never a sending off. Yes it was a foul, yes Chamakh was the last man BUT was it a clear goalscoring opportunity ? Absolutely not. He knocked the ball way too far leaving Hart to pick the ball up, he woud never have got the ball, therefore, under those circumstances a yellow card was the right decision.

If the challenge had been down the right wing and Chamakh had been the last man would it have been a sending off ? No.

The ref has to judge whether Boyata prevented a goalscoring opportunity and anyone with half a brain knows that to get sent off for that with 4 minutes gone was an absolute travesty.

Don't disagree with the penalty - even if it was soft - but the damage had already been done.

That's exactly the way I saw it but after the the last two games (Toon and Donkey Lashers) I suppose the decisions have even out a bit never mind its one game bring on the Wolves.

I have witnessed it before mate, at the reebok last season, when he sent bellamy off for simulation, when he was fouled by robinson! I was about 30 yards away and heard the 'click' from robinsons boot on bellamy's. Then it was stated after the game, clattenberg had asked city team players and staff "how do you put up with him?" (bellamy)

strange how andy gray, martin tyler, redknapp and gullitt thought it was a pen and a sending off, also none of them mentioned the ref having a bad game, all the lads i spoke to in the pub both blue and otherwise thought the ref was okay and a lot of blues on here thought he did okay, either all these are wrong or your a tad biased

i think we both know which one it is

i remember something along them lines.

didn't clattenburg say something in the tunnel just as the teams were coming back out for the second half about bellamy?

someone said hughes heard him say it to one of the linesman.
