Clattenburg, the FA & Adebayor - proof that the system is bent

Since the Thatcher incident v Portsmouth not one single yellow card has been retrospectively upgraded by the ruling powers.Makes me warm inside to know that no other yellow card offence in the intervening ten years or so should have been worthy of a red.

And the Fellaini elbow on Zabaleta was certainly one that should have been.

Couple of our lads leave the swamp injured (having been kicked to pieces) and a couple more red-carded next Saturday and this will have been "job-done" for SKYUnitedFA.

There were two good penalty shouts in that Everton game that we didn't get. Plus there was the Chelsea game where we were denied a clear penalty that would have put us 2-0 up.

I remember Fulham being denied a blatant last minute penalty at the swamp, and Ferguson immediately pointing to the penalty that Stoke weren’t given for Gareth Barry’s trip on Glenn Whelan the previous Saturday.

Not one journalist dared to suggest that if both penalties had been awarded then United would have dropped two points, whereas City (having drawn 1-1) would have only dropped one.

However, the worst decision by a country mile was the non-penalty for the John Terry foul on Silva which clearly dented our confidence,,especially when United got a ridiculous decision at the same venue, later in the season.

The attacks on Reyes by Scum against Arsenal, reminded me of the treatment SWP got in a Etihad derby a few years ago. Think Sir Baconface liked to target certain players and instructed his teams to do so knowing that they could get away with it.
