he's our worst ever signing. for where we are and the money he cost it has been an awful purchase. made worse by the fact it was a purchase we didn't need to make. I don't agree with the ironic cheers at the game but in fairness he's brought it on himself. don't want mocking? save a fucking shot now and again.

those saying things like "he's good with his feet" are just desperate and trying to save face. they too know he's fucking bobbins.

btw, if he stays in goal the cup has gone.

Said exactly the same in this thread earlier today,Willy got to take over in the FA Cup to have any chance of winning it

Precisely. There was a point I thought our manager was going to be really stubborn and not change him. In all honesty in 29 years of going, relatively speaking, I've not seen a worse keeper than Bravo. I'm hoping it's been seen he can't play how he plays in England and Hart is brought back. Unlikely, the latter, but I live in hope. It was strange how the keeper was identified as being a position that needed changing in the first place.

I honestly didn't see it as that big a deal. The atmosphere was pretty delirious by that stage. Tonnes of banter between the fans, the handballs, hitting the woodwork twice, 1-0 down to 3-1 up. Breathtaking half of football. A lot to take in for a bunch of attention deficit emotionally unstable no-marks like us. We were bought up on the pantomime aspect of the game, and I think it just collectively slipped out.
Stones stopped passing it back to him long before then.

It's not like we boo him when he lets in goals. It wasn't an organised show of disrespect, like 70,000 fans waving their handkerchiefs at you.
It's a few seconds in a two decade professional career.

Sorry Claudio. It wasn't intended as an insult. Put enough of us together and wind us up and we behave like kids. We do have a sense of fun, and we're also easily pleased by displays of renewed commitment and determination. No-one wants you to fail. It doesn't help any of us that a fan favourite was moved on. Doesn't help us that Pep kept in in the firing line a bit too long.

And it's not like we are all being unfair in our assessment of his performance. Just ask a few of the more knowledgable fans of other clubs what they think of him so far for us, and they'd probably be even harsher in their verdict.

Under the circumstances - the only way to make something like this happening impossible, to get that quiet respect out of 40,000 fans, is to actually perform. Plenty of city players have been through worse and come out with flying colours. Pep will - rightly - stick up for him but he'll know that it's down to Claudio to get performing.

I think his response was fine. He did alright from that point on, although I wasn't fussed by the save, TBH. He read the striker's intention wrong for me. If the striker lifted the ball, it's a goal, if he hit it cleanly as intended, at best Claudio runs the risk of the ball ending up... anywhere. As it was, he did well enough jump on the loose ball quickly, and didn't have any other saves to make. His control and passing from that point was impressive and helped us attack. He is generally on the up. He keeps his place for the cup, and I hope he continues to improve.

No he didn't, the striker opens out his body to hit the ball across Bravo to the far corner, he sets himself to dive that way, the striker doesn't get the connection he wants, he pulls the shot which meant it came off Bravo's legs.

Unless Angus Gunn is the best kept secret in British football, I think we need to be bring in a new keeper. Bravo continues to not make saves and Hart has god awful composure and distribution. Both not suitable or good enough for where we want to be IMO.

Yet Hart is a two time winner of the PL and contributed hugely to both. He will only end up going to a rival of ours and I can't see any positive in that. Its just a strange, strange stance that Pep has took in my opinion.

The 4th goal last night is obviously the blueprint for what we're looking for.

Even Gough and Durham were acknowledging how good he was with his feet. They both seemed surprised at just how good he was.

His confidence is obviously low as there's no way he is showing his best form.

I think Pep will stick by him and perhaps add the young lad from Benfica.

Not sure what fans get out of constantly waiting for a mistake to be made then getting straight on here. The stadium jeering is embarrassing and is rightly being highlighted in the media.

I'm sure it makes a lot of fans feel better about themselves. He replaced Hart who in no way could possibly do what is being asked of Bravo or Willy for that matter.

He's not doing well, but it's obvious what Pep is looking for. The saves need to come and if they don't another keeper will come in and the moaners & groaners will just have to put up with someone else 'pissing around at the back'.

Some fans need to accept it, our keepers will have to be excellent on the floor. A return to the lump it to the dug out is not on the horizon. 'Pissing around at the back' is here to stay.
Bravo is one of the best at 'pissing around at the back' so for the good of the team and club let's get behind him!

I like this - be hilarious if Pep starts using the phrase " pissing around at the back " in his team talks ?

I thought Bravo just had a decent distribution game last night because Hiddersfield played into Pep's hands. I don't think a PL or CL team would be that bad in losing a lot of ball possession and leaving players unmarked in a lot of space.

I think people just need to be reminded that playing from the back was brilliant as knife through butter and it was a revolutionary way of football that every other team was racing against time to find a weak spot, but when we got the 3-3 Celtic game it began to crack. If you press our defenders and the CM, you either get a nervy bravo-defender playing short and might get lucky, or you get a bravo long range distribution but can win the ball in the air any way because it's against the men from tall island Silva, Aguero, KdB and Sterling.

If Huddersfield got to our defender and keeper like Leicester or Everton did, playing from the back is nothing to be feared from their point of view.
