Maybe I'm doing a disservice to his professionalism and character but I fully expect him to have a couple of negative things to say about us once he leaves or hangs up his boots.
Like I said, he might not but I'd fully understand if he did. A huge portion (or at least, a very gobby portion) of our fanbase has been laying into him since day one, offered zero support and have sat in the stands dying for him to make a mistake.
The sarcastic cheers for his save and when he caught a cross were absolutely pathetic. If the cheers happened once or twice, then you could put it down to a bit of banter but, when it happens game after game, it comes across as petty in the extreme. Not only does it make us look disloyal and small time, but any potential future acquisitions could easily be watching that and thinking "what a bunch of ****s". And, although the idea of someone saying that about my club might put me on the defensive, I wouldn't be able disagree.
