Outstanding distribution, main reason why we won, desperately unlucky with their deflected shot.

Sometimes it doesn't work out for a keeper. Bench him until we sell him. Anything on target tends to be a goal and that would horrific against Arsenal.

I does sort of remind me of the way Bony got really really unlucky in his first 6 months with us. He hit the post a bunch of times, the ball would drop just centimetres out of reach, I think he slipped as he was taking a shot a couple of times....No matter how hard he tried or how much good he did, he couldn't score, and the pressure built up and built up until the fans turned against him and his form just sort of evaporated and he turned into last season's Bony.

It feels the similar with Bravo. He was brilliant in his passing today, but after 85 good minutes he gets a deflection a yard away and the clean sheet is gone. He never got a reasonable save to make to boost his confidence, it was basically his only defensive action of the game apart from a punched cross or 2.

All he needed was a little bit of luck today, he'd have had a great game and a clean sheet to back it up and confidence would be on the mend, but he couldn't get it.
A good post, and his distribution was indeed superb,he was doing great up until he had to make a save.......and he should have done better.

I cant argue that Caballero is a safer pair of hands,to give us the best chance of winning a trophy and securing CL football next year,we need to make him the no.1 and leave him there until the season ends.

My nephew was Bravo's mascot today. Gutted - thought he was gonna get a clean sheet and I could tell him how lucky a mascot he is. Ah well, I'll nail him for it when he's old enough to take it.

Problem is, although WIlly is in better form his passing isn't up to scratch (which showed in the Arsenal game) and that is part and parcel of Pep's tactics and what he is trying to achieve at CIty.

I was there today and the groans around the stadium were clearly audible when that tame shot went in. I also noticed Kolarov remonstrating with both the family/north stand and the east stand in the immediate aftermath of the goal. Sorry Aleks; I understand and admire loyalty to a team mate. But Bravo is a liability as a goalkeeper. Yes, his distribution was pretty good today. But a keeper's primary role is as a shotstopper, surely? And he simply isn't good enough at it.

shame about the goal as that will cloud over the great passing he did which led straight to attacks.

I think for Pep he'll not care that much about the odd goal let in as long as his passing leads to attacks and goals...and if we didn't miss so many chances this season I think he would be proved correct

The odd goal? Stat I saw was last 7 shots on target Bravo have conceded 7 is that really true?
