How has he managed to retain the ability and composure with ball at feet and his passing ability, yet seems utterly incapable of stopping anything.

I would have thought if it was a confidence thing, he would be unable to complete even the most basic of tasks.

I've had my say on bravo. I take no pleasure in rubbing it in. I would though like the uber blues who gave me dogs abuse to hold their hands up.
I won't hold my breath.

It will be worth it if we win the cup.

It has been hard to hold a contary opinion on him at times and like you i get no pleasure he hasn't worked out,it has been obvious to me for a while he has not settled,i want all the players to do well as i want to win games,but sometimes it just doesn't work out
He is brilliant with his feet but he is amongst the worse at shot stopping,i think he is bottom of the prem keepers at that,someone posted the list a while back,willy is not the answer but is the best option for now,we are in the business end of the season,we need points and he won't get them for us he is not going to start being a shot stopper now

What is weird is the number of posters who appear to be making a claim for Mr Super Cool - "I don't panic, you fool's know nothing compared with my immense knowledge " How can anyone believe that a goalkeepeeper's ability to pass to a team mate is a greater advantage to the team than their ability to keep the ball out of the net.
