No city manager should be immune to scrutiny imo.

I've seen that sentence countless times since the season started. Not one of you has been able to point to any specific user who thinks Guardiola is infallible. It's hardly surprising given that it's generally just a cheap trick to try and add weight to their own criticisms.

I like Pep but I have to say this place has become a cult of Pep forum as much as a City forum, can't be doing with it.

Bollocks has it. Some agree with him more than others and some blame him more than others. This thread is a perfect example of that and the shite I can't be doing with is the same few users consistently trolling the rest with sarcastic, petty insults and strawman arguments and then acting like they're being picked on by those who take the bait.

Think Willy's contract is up at the end of this season? If Bravo does play, maybe, with the League gone, Pep is wanting to see if there is any chance of Bravo regaining some confidence considering the contract he has with Club? I don't know.

Feel for Bravo. It can't be any coincidence that he's won a lot of trophies in his career. Hope he can turn things around if he does get the chance.

That's a two fingers up to Cabellero. One bad game and he is pushed away again.
Indeed, I thought he would probably sign a year extension but I assume he will go now. He isn't a great keeper by any means so it won't be that big a blow but personally I don't think he deserved to be dropped. Bravo is more Pep's kind of keeper though so it was inevitable that he would be looking for the opportunity to get him back in. I totally get that for Pep, defenders and keepers being able to pass the ball well is vitally important. My quibble is that balance between being able to do the other side of the job (what I would call the more important side of their job but what do I know, I'm an old dinosaur who still thinks keepers should be able to make the odd save every now and then) and the ability on the ball. Personally I think we will struggle to win the league again for as long as being able to do the defensive side of the game or being able to keep the ball out of the net is viewed as being of secondary importance compared to being able to pass the ball. Plenty will say that I'm talking bollocks and that Pep doesn't undervalue that side of things but if that was the case then I don't believe Bravo would be back in the side and then there was the Swansea home match where Pep said Kompany was fit and able to play and had been for 6 weeks but that he picked Kolarov (I think) instead at centre back because of his superior ability to bring the ball out of defence. If you're picking Kolarov at centre back ahead of Kompany for purely footballing reasons then IMO you are definitely undervaluing the defensive side of things. It isn't my intention to particularly have a go at Kolarov, by his own standards he's had an ok season but in terms of defending, he's not in the same league as Kompany.

It's frightening just how thick people can be on here. Sounds like he is to fans, what Tony Adams is to managers. He'd be loving it if Big Sam was in charge.

Won't get a peep out of him this time next season mind.
now why would you abuse a fellow blue just because his opinion differs from yours. I might be academically challenged but I am by no means thick.

you will be hearing from me next season as I will be posting as I see it, if the team and the manager does well i'll say so, of course if they don't I will be saying that too.

honesty is a rare commodity these days.

Bravo has been terrible this season, nobody can deny that, that's not Bravo bashing, its just a loyal, concerned fan stating an undeniable fact.
We need a world class keeper if we are going to realise our full potential.

I think it's a bit out of order to call people thick because they have a very different view of what they see happening at City at the moment. I doubt there will be many people much happier than Bill if we are absolutely brilliant next season but I'm guessing that's the whole point, he's presumably not convinced that is going to be the case. I have some similar concerns, the way we defend really worries me and I'm not totally convinced Pep will sort it out either. He might, he might not, time will tell but I don't think it makes me some kind of idiot for thinking that just as I don't think you're an idiot for just assuming we will be incredible.

Hear, hear.

It doesn't help the way some posters articulate their perspective . Some seem incapable of criticising without wumming / trolling, so no wonder they get called out
