That's a two fingers up to Cabellero. One bad game and he is pushed away again.

I don't see it like that. I think it might be a pretty shrewd move by pep. By saying he'll rotate the keepers on a game by game basis rather than having a set cup and league keeper he's essentially opened up the door to be able to play Caballero in the cup without all of the drama that often comes when you want to put your preferred keeper in at the latter stages of a competition. Caballero gets to play without it looking like a massive snub to Bravo.

Bravo has been terrible this season, nobody can deny that, that's not Bravo bashing, its just a loyal, concerned fan stating an undeniable fact.
We need a world class keeper if we are going to realise our full potential.
Maybe he is a world class player who is struggling with confidence/form? Do you remember just how poor De gea was in his first season. Far worse than Bravo has been.

The media love to criticise Bravo, and sadly a lot of blues seem ready to join in and criticise him because it's an easy target. He gets blamed for every goal City concede even when it's not his fault like the goal against Hull. I think City took him out of the firing line when it became obvious that the media were going to really target him. he is a stick with which to beat Guardiola because of course he let Joe go.

That was a reaction to a question he didn't know was coming (but perhaps could have anticipated.) I think it was more of an honest answer. He doesn't know who is his best keeper. bravo he obviously rates, and would ideally like to rehabilitate. He has been one of the best keepers in the world, but can he handle the transition and a situation where everyone in the stadium is just waiting for him to make a mistake? He hasn't so far

Don't think anyone is saying he's had a good season.
Fans like myself can see why he's here and what he'll bring if he regains his form.
Sadly he hasn't shown his qualities but he was widely considered one of the best in the World when we signed him.
That's why some fans see no benefit in constantly slating him.

I agree we need a World class keeper, we have someone perfect for our style and who was considered amongst the very best less than 12 months ago.

That's the problem with signings, they're a gamble!

I keep reading that Bravo has cost us numerous points this season, yet strangely, nobody ever names the specific matches.

By common consent, his biggest mistake was in a game that we actually won at the swamp, so are we suggesting that Hart would have saved Stones suicidal back pass against Southampton, or Leicester’s first goal when everybody would have expected Aguero to score from a similar situation?

Don’t forget this is the same Hart who allowed Norwich and Swansea to score from their only shot at goal at the ETIHAD last season, and apart from BMG away, had a pretty ordinary year for both club and country.

How about Everton’s first goal at Goodison when Clichy lost possession, and Lukaku was unmarked?

Boro’s last minute bullet header?

Certainly Willian’s goal at the ETIHAD, but equally, I could blame Aguero, De Bruyne, and a corrupt referee for City losing that day.

I keep reading that he's a world class keeper but I don't really think there's much to support that assertion. He may be good or very good but his career doesn't equal world class.
He's played in Chile. What do any of us know about the game there? His international record points to his having played a lot and had some success but international football is very weak indicator. They play a lot of dead rubbers and friendlies and name me any country's second best goalie. They almost never play. Outside Chile he's played mostly for Real Sociedad. Almost 230 games. He played a big chunk of those in the Spanish Second Division. If he was world class, why did nobody snap him up? He played 70 games for Barcelona nearly all in La Liga. He's already played more Champions League games for City than for Barcelona. They didn't play him. So he played 2 seasons behind a strong Barcelona team. He's at City because he can pass the ball well. Not because he's a world class keeper. Like de Michelis was brought in because he was used to playing a high line and winning the ball early unlike our other CBs of the time. He was a model for the others to follow. Bravo's the same. Of course Guardiola is going to say he's a great keeper. What else can he say? He's not all that but he can pass it? Joe Hart has played more games and is 5 years younger. Not saying Joe's better or anything just the fact. Buffon at 5 years older has played almost twice as many games. I think some are using the term world class a bit loosely in this case.

Like those in the game who voted him as being in the top 5 in the world?

Contrary to misguided opinion, club football and International football aren't mutually exclusive.

Hart's indifferent Euro's was a consequence of some sloppy performances for City last season and Stones has struggled, (and occasionally been ridiculed) because England adopt a different defensive style.
Sterling was vilified last summer, and his growing maturity has arguably been Guardiola's biggest success.

With Bravo, I suspect that it's been the other way round. A confident goalkeeper, who's weaknesses have suddenly been publicly exposed, thanks mainly to mistakes further up the pitch.
For the perfect example, look no further than Everton's 1st goal at Goodison, when Clichy lost possession, and the scousers virtually walked the ball into the goal (they'd had a disallowed goal from an identical situation, five minutes earlier).

Chile and Barcelona don't concede those type of goals, so let's judge our goalkeeper (whoever he is next season) when we've got a couple of full backs who can actually pass the ball, and don't lose possession in stupid positions.
