I like joe but he is never going to be good enough with his feet.
Surely can't be that bad with his feet, looks like a good footballer to me who's been coached one way for 20 years plus, just like our full backs have, but they've been taught to adapt and are adapting, I just don't like the way we're not trying with joe.

None of us know for sure mate. Maybe pep is telling the truth and we will have hart, willy and bravo this season?

Maybe pep has too many other players to develop? Can't develop every single player in the squad after all.

There will be a reason why he doesn't think he can develop Joe... I trust he knows what he is doing better than either of us.
Personally I think the goalkeeper is the most important position in a side. Hart deserves a chance to see if he can develop, learning from Bravo Pep and the other coaches.

The fullback thing is part tactical.

Hart will never be up to scratch in terms of playing out from the back. He's not a young player. His distribution is poor even for a GK.

Watching Bravo now and he's what we need.

Bravo was 31 when he changed his game style moving from Real Sociedad to Barca, see my stats above. Hart is 29, 2 years younger than when Bravo "learnt new Tricks" after joining Barca.

Eh? Bravo has always been good with his feet.

Will be sad to see Joe go (IF he goes - of course)

Read lots on here about his ability and comparisons with other keepers but for me its not about ability or development, its about Joe wanting to play Peps way.

I wonder if the pre-season game when Joe was going long was his answer to the playing instructions.

Either way Pep will bring success and to get there he will have to make some "nasty" and unpopular decisions.

We all love joe for his passion and cos he's city through and though but if he played for a different club and not us we wouldn't say he was a great Keeper.
He's not even in top 5 in the league
Loris , de Gea , cech , cortious are all ahead wouldn't surprise me if jack butland surpasses joe as England number 1 this season.

You got to remember before Mancini got the boot he was gonna sign begavoic from stoke.
yup, i agree. the truth hurts. we all love joe but this is a new era at city and he does not fit the new style of play. we also talked about how pep has had no problem getting rid of popular players when he arrives to a new club, this is just another example.

Look at the stats when he was at Real Sociedad, (see my earlier post), his distribution success and pass length were very similar to Hart's current stats.

Since joining Barca he does many much shorter passes and his passing success has massively improved.

When you see the pass completion comparison stats it really does make Bravo seem a different class. I will say again that this guy almost certainly won't come unless he's been assured of a first choice spot. I'd want to give Joe a season to see if he'll adapt, everyone's saying it'll take until February to be fully firing anyway.
