It's smart because it meant that it would be hard for clubs to come in and think they could buy Ter Stegan easily.
Bravo also had an expensive release but we were able to negotiate.

It's txiki doing the business again. My mate watches Barca and says it's obvious Claudio is the better keeper. Ter Stegan is class as well but they can't let him go for obvious reasons. It's a shame people are caught up on sentimental opinions (I get that though, I do) because it's a brilliant pick up.

Completely agree. People get caught up in Bravo's age as well as a lot of other mythical things to discredit him in the name of sentimental feelings for Hart.
