Claudio Echeverri/On Loan at River Plate

According to BBC, River Plate want to extend his loan
knew that would be coming, there season should be over by Nov/Dec though, wouldnt be surprised either way tbh. dont think we've a dying need for him to come in Jan over June. Gallardo is very respected by Pep/Txiki etc to manage him

We can't loan our players to one of our associated clubs who are in the champs league
They've no points from 2. Might still be an option.
They've got Bratislava and Sturm Graz and PSV which are very winnable. However, also got Milan (tricky, but they're bang average really), Liverpool and Arsenal, so they can't really afford any slip-ups in the first 3.

Rule is set till Sept 2025

UEFA said that in both instances, the respective clubs “will not transfer players to each other, whether permanently or on loan, directly or indirectly, from July 2024 until September 2025, with the exception of pre-existing transfer agreements”.

gallardo gotta give him more minutes though, if he does it would be a good move for him to stay there

river changed coaches recently and he hasnt been featured as much
Still featured though which is better than we've got on offer, doubt he even gets on the bench with Ake, KDB & Bobb all back before he arrives imo. I can see him being allowed to stay for the 2 cups early year. Coming in fresh for the start of next season inline with the rest. coudl go either way tbf
