Kolarov better than Clichy, hahahahaha. Clichy is everything a modern full-back should be except a little indecisive up the pitch, sometimes he could just cross it in when he has space but instead gives it to Nasri, slowing the attack down a bit. But other than that he is a brilliant player and miles better than Kolarov.

Put it this way.

Clichy plays tonight and he gets injured. We'd now be stuck with having no option to play Kolarov or Zaba at left back for league games. Our priority.

Play Kolarov tonight, ok he might not be as good as Clichy (but he didn't cost us the game tonight) and it allows us to have Clichy available for the league game. Its as simple as that.

Look at Lescott being pulled out of position time and time again IE bellers goal Kolarov is a shite fullback and very average elsewhere.
