Centre half in particular is a position in which 'understanding' your fellow defenders is imperative. A new face, no matter how 'good' he may be, is going to need a little bit of time to bed in. The notion that a 19 year old kid who's played a handful of games in a second rate league against mainly second rate opposition would be thrust into the action for us against Madrid is a laughable. I think in Madrid it is crucial that we have pace around the midfield holding area and in the wide positions, this will get Maicon ahead of Zaba and Clichy for Kolarov. I would go with Rodwell as his speed will be crucial. On the attacking front, if Aguero isn't fit enough to start, we need to retain the ball and play in smart areas, try and draw a foul from the likes of Ramos and Pepe, they are a bit reckless. For that i see both Nasri and Silva playing in place of a forward....
