Climate Change is here and man made

Some of your views on right wingers aside westy which don't help the debate above some cheap jibes you do make a lot of sense on a number of occasions.

its clear you are doing you bit to reduce your carbon footprint which is both noble and good for the environment.
I don't have strong views one way or another on right wingers in general, just on bullshitting idiots, who coincidentally mostly happen to be on the far right politically. There's a fair few on the far left as well.

Fair enough FWIW I think you have some passion for politics and could make a decent career in politics as I think you would represent your constituents well but if that is not your bag then I understand its a brutal game or can be at least.

your dedication to this forum has to be commended at times.

I think we both agree that Trump is a sociopathic creature at best but feel free to disagree albeit I am a little off subject matter at present but it shows you how one can still bluff ones self into the highest office with the right support behind you.

my own view on bull shitters is they are best left alone and forgotten about unless they continue to harass you after you have told them to leave you alone so my view on them doesn't change and I have no strong view on them they are just BS artists.

I am happy to debate on a topic I might kid myself I might know a little about sometimes as long as it stays with the subject matter so I am not perhaps as strong on those you regard as BS artists but no one should censor you for any view you hold even if you think poorly of them.

It's good that people buy new TVs. The TV I bought a few months ago uses 80% less electricity than the one it replaces, and I suspect the same applies across the board for most new products.
Great, but how much does it cost in environmental terms to produce these new more efficient gadgets, surely using the ones we had from 3 years ago would be better than upgrading all the time? Same with electric cars, great they pollute less but if we kept the cars we had from 10 years ago and drove them until they were fucked instead of upgrading ever couple of years it’d be better for the environment by constantly manufacturing new ones…. Problem with that is big business lose out and no way can that be allowed to happen.

My TV was 12 years old

I would like an explanation as to how any measures we take will “tackle” Climate Change -because we are seeing climate change on just about every Celestial body that’s been explored in the last c50 years -none of which we would even dream of ever having any control over. So why is it so different on Earth?

Io, Enceladus, Europa -all observed by our machines passing by for only for a few hours or so along with all the atmospheric upheavals on the “Giant Planets” as they are called. We are absolutely micro-insignificant in the great scheme of things and to consider we could ever have any power to change any of this is ridiculous.

We’ve to live with this and let's get on with the living bit -bollocks to Masks, and restrictions and the rest of it.

You sound like a top-notch bloke.
