He would be an impact player only, bar the odd few smaller games and cup games. He wouldn't want that. He is 29. There are so many more younger players that we could go for. Seems ridiculous. I am American. Dempsey is great. He is nowhere near City's quality.

Yup, I have to agree with this. Has said he wants Champs League. Allows him to stay in London. I think he could be a decent signing for them, something different than what they have right now. Pity he's 29, otherwise he would be a good signing on a number of fronts.

Proven in the Prem, quick, and an eye for goal. ??
He is an outstanding player - 21 goals in all competitions last season for a mid table team would indicate that he is a half decent striker - and his goal tally could only increase playing for City
However because he aint valued at 30 plus million demands a 150K a week salary and have a high profile twat of a manager he aint worth considering.
