Clint Dempsey.

It didn't help us that much when we signed DaMarcus Beasley or Claudio Reyna.

It's a toss up for me between Dempsey, and Donovan as to who I would like to smash in the face with a hockey stick the most.

What a Canadian thing to say.

Terry Dunfield didn't help us that much either.

It's a somewhat different world now with satellite television and all.

Maybe, but hasn't ESPN being going since 1979 but still had still showed Premier league games?

I'm not sure I'm following what you're saying...

What I mean is that surely we should of been a bit more high profile when we signed Beasley and Reyna, and Sat TV has been going for over 20 years.

I am typing a bit too quick.

ESPN has only regularly shown Premier League games for the last three seasons. Had to have Fox Soccer before to watch any at all, though it is increasingly inexpensive in cable "sports channel" packages.

Soccer is currently blowing right the fuck up over here, at all levels. Even MLS is doing quite well.

MLS football is now the third most attended sport in the USA, overtaking Ice Hockey and Basketball.

Cheers for that I always thought ESPN (US) had being showing the Premier League for a lot longer.
