Club Badge (merged)

It looks like something out of Gotham City not Manchester City

Dump the eagle and the date and it's fine apart from the "football club" bit should be bold too.

Couldn't agree more. Good effort!

Something like this may be a compromise for older and newer fans
Round badge
Eagle for the newer fans
No stars
No Latin
Ship and rivers for the older fan
And no rose as with Manchester not been in Lancashire would look daft now
Anyone else agree with this train of thought ?

Its not my first choice but I guess we need something for older and newer fans and like it or not as a concept that ticks a lot of boxes

I just want that eagle gone, if we are gonna change the badge the pointless eagle has to go surely? why would it stay? it means nothing haha

Well it mean so thing Now we have won the premier twice with that eagle so for me it has to be incorporated into the badge

I agree but we have a whole generation of fans for them the eagle is their badge just as the round badge and rose are ours.
Would have been a much easier decision dumping the eagle if wed been crap since we had it but its only going to be associated with a successful period in some fans eyes
