Club Badge (merged)

Removing the stars representing (in rag eyes) the three European Cups we haven't won removes a source of ridicule. Recycling the rose, unless it's the English rose and not the Lancashire rose, adds a source of ridicule since it represents a county we ceased to belong to in 1974. This badge is likely to be used for the next 20-30 years. The Lancashire reference becomes less relevant with each passing year. An English rose would still be relevant if people really want one.
I was thinking of recycling in the sense of composting.

Never ever thought I'd say it, but with a few tweeks I'd go for the top one keeps new and old fans happy ?

The bird needs to be sky blue on this ^ (anyone do it-pretty please), scrap the MCFC in the middle and have the adidas stripes projecting from the ships underside, so to become one symbol. this will provide more sky blue than white (our recognisable kit) allow the navy to stay and have the ship and stripes imagery large enough to use. The very outside rail edge needs to be navy blue akin the inside edge, with a sky blue bird three spheres will be easy to see...

I didn't post wanting that daft eagle.

No it isn't! Castlefield is the original Roman settlement. Cathedral at the other end. The fantastic John Rylands Library in between. Very much the heart of Manchester, my friend. You must be in the 'not in Lancashire any more' brigade. Oh dear.

No. I would like the Manchester United Evening news to revert back to the Manchester Evening news...& id like Deansgate to feel like central Manchester...not the centre of Salford.
