Personally I think it's horrific.

It looks like an American sports badge, the boat looks very modern in it's graphical depiction, the blue moon shape, the water, it all looks like it should be a badge for Cincinnati City not Manchester City.

Does anything encapsulate more how City was previously run than the club not owning the rights to its own badge ffs?

Unbelievable, what a fucking shambles of an organisation we were for 25 years. Ran like a dodgy used-car dealership or nightclub.

Not had time to read the entire thread but has anyone made an attempt to put the eagle in a round crest.

I like the eagle. To me from the moment it was introduced it signified change and progression as it was in my eyes a phoenix. I knowitshad its roller coaster ride but it brought us to our current state and it stands now for excellence.

IMO it just needs to be consistent with the CFG theme and tie in possibly with the past. But I don't want the eagle gone. In years to come it'll be missed IMO if it's replaced.

Also lets not test faith. :-)

you are right ... it is that extreme jump away from a fusion of old and new elements of current and past badges .... i just like it cos i did it lol

I'm currently reading Richard Edghill's autobiography. This book, in addition to Paul Lake's, shows how truly shite we were ran for many years. Some of the stuff written would hardly be believable had we all not experienced it for ourselves.

Electorally and metropolitanary (if spelt that way ??)maybe but Geographically, Historically and deep in the soul we will always be Lancastrian, after all we all think yorkshires a shit hole at heart don't we?

There are parts of Manchester that have never been in Lancashire.
