Think you might have misunderstood my point mate, I will try to be more clear. As discussed on the BBC radio Manchester show last lots of the imagery on previous badges represent certain things from Manchester. But for me, in todays "Global Game" as it were. The club badge is no longer about the area but about the club, so for me the idea of landmarks, imagery etc is no longer needed. This is just my opinion by the way, but for me something simple with the initials MCFC and 1894 is all that is needed.

Fuck that. Liverpool's looks shit. Having two emblems - one for the shirt and one for letter headers is just daft (not saying that's what your asking for).

I like the way the eagle looks and it makes the badge more impressive but I've opted to leave it out because I don't want Roman or Latin association with the club. It's foreign symbolism.

How many more times? From what I can gather, we don't own the old badge (or at least the copyright of it) any more. It's not ours to use any more. FWIW, I would actually like to see us go back to the old badge, but it is highly unlikely that it will happen.
