Bruges is the more important game. If we lose we could potentially not qualify with PSG to play again. If we lose to United it is a setback from which we can recover.
Comments like this make me nervous that he could play a stronger team tomorrow night than on Saturday. Hopefully he's just saying it out of respect for Brugge.
Except that Manchester's blue residents would have to endure another six months of pain.Bruges is the more important game. If we lose we could potentially not qualify with PSG to play again. If we lose to United it is a setback from which we can recover.
They're bringing 1700 over and will be spread over the three tiers. It is also being considered a 'high risk' game due to the events that happened over there a couple weeks back. Are Brugge bringing fans over? Does anyone know?
Why.That's the lineup I'd go with but you have to imagine Pep is going to play Sterling.
You need good league form to do well in the Champions league, you can’t turn form on and off like a tap, it doesn’t work like that.No he won't priotitise it over the league, but he'll prioritise the next game and won't think about the weekend until Thursday.
Thats why he looks at one game at a time and build a run. Anyone that thinks he priorises the c/l over the league has either never listened to him, or doesn’t believe him every time he says the league comes first. Can’t do much about that except point to his record. You need good league form to do well in the Champions league, you can’t turn form on and off like a tap, it doesn’t work like that.
