Is this another Clarkie for fucks sake ??

No mate - genuine.

U mean they were not taken on tour as we wanted to freeze them out and sell them?? Get the message lads...... you are nothing to do with the 1st team??

I get that bit.

However, I thought it is also linked to FFPR that we did not take them on tour.

No it had nothing to do with the FFPR otherwise they wouldn`t have been allowed to play in the CC against Brum a couple of weeks ago.

I thought I read somewhere (maybe from Prestwich Blue) that we did not take them on tour as we wanted to distance them from ourselves because of FFPR and we could write their wages off.

Obviously now that we have played them in the league cup it seems rather void.

Why are people saying they hope he can patch things up with Mancini and hope he plays again. Are you mad?

Why would you want this little bastard playing for us ever again?
because I hope Tevez has it within in him to apologise and show by his actions that he is committed to honouring his contract and his obligations to the team.

never write people off. I am not a religious zealot who believes in good and bad people. "He's a bastard, and he can go to hell. And this man's a Saint and hallowed be his name."

I can easily imagine a stubborn man, unhappy with his lot, saying I'm not going on. There are all kinds of scenarios that could lead to that. It might be the wrong response but it doesn't mean you should necessarily wash your hands of him, and condemn him to eternal damnation.

he was Captain. Was Mancini's judgement so wrong then if you view people as unchanging elements who can be pigeon-holed? Maybe mancini can influence him, and "teach him". he is after all manager. Wouldn't that be the best possible scenario. We get the best player back, and we get an individual who is more capable of dealing with whatever situation it was that he couldn't handle

Lets be totally honest about this part !!
He was only made Captain to appease him, into staying a bit longer and I for one do NOT believe that this was down to Bobby Manc, but the powers that be !!
Speculative again. I understand the point, and it's been made before, but we're just distant observers with theories.

Here is my take on Carlos situation.

The one thing City and ADUG have shown is class and professionalism. Even with Robinho, City were careful to always show dignity and give the player dignified care, despite many of us wanting City to show their teeth and cut him loose or send him into the wilderness. The same is true with Carlos because football is about managing divas, and far bigger divas than even Mariah Carey could be.

tevez is one such diva and so every footballer is looking to see how City handle every situation. Thus far, we have come out smelling of roses and even in this current situation with Carlos, we are showing calm respect and authority(but not swinging the axe which we obviously have). Having power but using compassion sends out an even bigger message to our future signings.

Because Carlos is our diva. No matter how much he gets paid, he his still relatively young and dealing with that beast called fame and idolisation which can make even the most grounded individual go insane. He has even said so himself in reference to cheating on his wife, that fame caused him to make some bad decisions.

What I think the real cause of this latest Munich thing is, that he now has what he so desprately wanted which is to be re-united and living with his girls and his wife again. He was so overjoyed that she came back to England to live with him that he was not training as hard as he should have and he lost that edge and desire.

I have often wanted to kill Carlos myself but I remind myself that he is just another flawed human being, albeit very rich. I have alos refused to go to work sometimes, the only difference being is that I can call in sick and I wont get millions commenting on it.

If Tevez is sacked....

What are the clubs rights. Can we retain his registration? How much money will we be able to recoup. Will there still be a transfer fee from any club he joins.

This situation is just as importantly on one protecting a financial asset of the club especially now with the demands of financial fair play.

"He will report back to training on Thursday"

I don't like that bit, I certainly hope he doesn't train with the rest of the lads or even the EDS... He should be given an old bit of rope and told to skip in the corner. I don't want him anywhere near the group dripping poison into their ears.

To be honest regardless of whats happened,(and I'm in the fuck him off as far away from the club as possible camp) instead of booing him I just think we shouldn't give him the time of day, I don't think booing will do anyone any favors especially the other players, and even though he's a **** he played a big part in gettin us where we are now, anyway I can't see him settin foot anywhere near the first team now, that statement sounds like it's bye bye

Enjoy hating the club biggest hero in the Mansour Era.

Get out of here, you're not wanted!

You are so ignorant to call him a hero, let alone out biggest under HH Sheikh Mansour, there are decades of football we have to look forward to under the Sheikh and mark my words there will be plenty of heroes.
