Palmer's shown some promise, but let's be honest, he's nowhere near the player Foden was at the same age. To get 45 million for him is insane business. This is a guy that started 6 games last season, 3 in the Carabao Cup and 1 in a Champions League group game when we'd already qualified. He's a talented youngster, but he's not made it yet. For me, he's always looked like a player who will develop into a decent player rather than a world class one. And let's be honest, if the people who work with him every day thought he had that much potential, they wouldn't be agreeing to sell him.

But yeah, good luck to him and his 8 year contract.
