Yeah how dare the nasty journalist repeat what he’s been told by several different sources within the club. Nasty nasty man.

I dont trust the fucker, he hedges his bets the majority of times and made the cas ruling his big exclusive and got it wrong , file under ****He once wrote an article taking the piss out of any City fan who thought there were sections of the media which were purposely negative about the club. It was at a time where he came across as desperately wanting to work in the media and therefore tried to score brownie points with them. He'd throw his mum under a bus if he thought it would get his foot in the door.
Didnt do the ones who wrote poison about raz for years any harm so that is bullshitI listened to the podcast and the context was interesting. He basically said it’s hard to write anything negative about England players - no one really gives you any interesting content (whereas he said Dokus former coaches had funny stories to tell that maybe on the surface weren’t positive but helped tell a story about his growth and maturation). Everyone always says England players were good students and hard workers etc on the record. It’s all very generic..and he suggested it’s not in your interest as a writer to publish anything negative. And then he said, for example if you’ve heard there were some attitude issues or drinking issues with a City academy player who went to Chelsea. But now they went to Chelsea so he doesn’t care as much.
So true about Raz. But I do think there are some English players that are untouchable in the press so it was interesting to hear that.Didnt do the ones who wrote poison about raz for years any harm so that is bullshit
He's talking about something different. It sounds like he's referring to info from inside the club about the young players who came through the Academy. The suggestion being they're overly protective, so you just get boring quotes, even when there are issues.Didnt do the ones who wrote poison about raz for years any harm so that is bullshit
Ah, thanks , that makes more senseHe's talking about something different. It sounds like he's referring to info from inside the club about the young players who came through the Academy. The suggestion being they're overly protective, so you just get boring quotes, even when there are issues.
Clearly it wasn't City's coaching staff that were the source of all the negative shit that Sterling had to put up with.
Not necessarily. We had been linked with Doku for weeks and he signed on August 25th. We had intimated that we wished Palmer to stay, but I suspect that our then move for Nunes led both him and McAtee to decide that the squad was getting so large that they were not going to be given significant playing time.If we'd have kept Cole we may well have not gone for Doku correct?
