He is by a country mile, but those two together would have created a very , very solid midfield.

He has made Arsenal worse offensively, most Arsenal fans I know much preferred their progressive passing with Partey and Xhaka.

I never did rate Bellingham as weird as that sound after his start in Madrid but he might have been the one that got away. Also sadly Liverpool took another that would have been perfect for us with the one that I can't be bothered to spell after he signed for them. This is the part of the first eleven that needs strenghtening considering we haven't really replaced Silva never mind Gundogan. In my opinion in the current market one of Wirtz or Musiala is an absolute must now, and we can't compromise if we want to continue stay ahead of the curve.

The Rodri understudy/partner plays at Fulham and that became pretty clear last season when he took the league by storm.

We let him go and I still wonder why, after the Arsenal and Sevilla game he was dropped to the bench against Newcastle. If he played then he would still be with us now, did anyone see our bench last night. Look at Lewis for example different positions and all that but he’s not at the same level as Cole and never will be unfortunately
