Cole Palmer

He wanted to leave. Pep said he wanted him to stay, just like Mahrez and Gundo. They all wanted out. We have a clearly defined policy of not keeping players against their wishes.
This plus he has the freedom of not playing opponents with 11 behind the ball like he would have done with us

The people on here who post about why we shouldn't have let him go? What did you want us to do chain him to the dressing room keep an unhappy player? Because it was around 6/8 months ago Palmer went to pep and told him he wants out! Did you won't pep to tell him he would play him every game? Even saying he would have played him a game every week wouldn't a of kept him from a 7 year deal and 8X more what he was on at city!

Correct. Nothing has changed. He’s scoring here and there for a mid table team.
Happy for him, good player but the need to bump this thread every few weeks is fucking tedious.
Let’s see what people think in May when the trophies are being handed out.
Personally, I'd kill the thread*. I'm not sure what's to be gained by constantly bringing the issue up. Bottom line; he's gone, and he's highly unlikely to be back.

*The grief I'd get for doing that wouldn't be worth the hassle!

Still no.
Is someone going to pipe up with this every time he scores?

Even if he’d wanted to stay, who does he start ahead of in our team? We miss Gundo more.
Palmer is no loss.
