Cole Palmer

He’s one of the most in form players in the league currently. We could have done with him/ someone who can create something fr nothing.

I think the frustrating part is that we have developed a top player for someone else

Selling Palmer for the "huge fee" 43m and bringing in Nunes for 10m more on deadline day was and is nothing but awful business. As one who liked Palmer and didn't understand why we would bring in a mediocre Wolves player it seemed like terrible moves at the time but half a season later it turned out to be even worse than I expected. We have been ace on the transfer market over the years, but its hard to argue we got it right this time. With that said, we still have several world class players and the best manager in the world so we can obviously win every trophy we compete for.

He wanted to leave. Pep said he wanted him to stay, just like Mahrez and Gundo. They all wanted out. We have a clearly defined policy of not keeping players against their wishes.

So predictable that this thread has had the defibrillator treatment, seeing as Palmer scored.
Correct. Nothing has changed. He’s scoring here and there for a mid table team.
Happy for him, good player but the need to bump this thread every few weeks is fucking tedious.
Let’s see what people think in May when the trophies are being handed out.
