Cole Palmer

A make or break season, no doubt

The flair is there (woooooo), but he looks a little weak for me at present; it does no harm sending him out on loan, especially to the ever improving championship, where he can lay his marker and prove something in terms of grit… he will get eaten alive, physically, at the moment, he’s also needs a consistent run of games which he won’t be afforded, currently

All the talent in the world is there but unlike Foden, he still plays with a bit of fear to me!

The standard of City’s academy is second to none. Player after player we are starting to reap some very good fees. Young players can see a way through our academy into top level professional football. The only issue is when you sell one too early like lavia and he don’t want to come back. That is the exception, overall we develop good footballers and make a ton off cash.

Palmer is good but has he reached his ceiling. I would take 30-40m now.

“Reached his ceiling”? He’s still a kid.

Did you reach your career peak at 21?

At that age I was still staying up all night smoking weed and watching the Mighty Boosh DVDs.

Palmer is doing fine.

As did Jack first season…..

One season at any premier club playing week in week out doing decent scoring goals we know he can, his value will go up to at least 60m
Easier said than done. Scoring 12-15 league goals from a wide position is not easy.
