If they offered 30m city should grab it. I personally don't see it with Cole. I don't think he will make it at city. Im in the minority I think but I just don't see a superstar as others do. Personal opinions though.

I'd rather neither to be honest. I think he's an absolutely amazing player and could easily become Foden level at least. He has an iffy season last year, looking like he was too desperate to impress and it kind of got the better of him.

But we should not be put off by that - it will surely click for him soon and then everyone will be saying how incredible he is. Hopefully as a City player!

I agree with all that and think he needs more game time at City. Pep said a few years ago he was one of the best finishers he had seen...very cool in and around the goal area. He also said in the last day or so that as Mahrez has gone there is space for another in the squad...he said that with reference to the Cole to West ham rumours. I'm not saying don't buy paqueta but I am saying Cole is good enough for City and he will prove it given the chance.

Had more than a few beers and on a train home. I like Cole and would like to keep him. Kinda feel he’s a boy that needs to become a man. And so feel that a loan to a “prem” team would work well for him and us.

The standard of City’s academy is second to none. Player after player we are starting to reap some very good fees. Young players can see a way through our academy into top level professional football. The only issue is when you sell one too early like lavia and he don’t want to come back. That is the exception, overall we develop good footballers and make a ton off cash.

Nope. I can only judge on his development to this point. He is no better a player than what he was last season. Its maybe a good chance to cash in with his stock high. I’m not sure he can get any better.

I understand that. All I am suggesting is that he ain’t going to reach another level. This is it and if that is so he is not good enough to start games for City. Abit like Gomez at Lb. Good player but not good enough to make the position his own.

If you rate him higher then that is ok with me. I don’t see what the fuss is. Good player but nothing suggests he is going to become elite.

It’s a very big decision for everyone because if he stays and has another season like last year, it won’t be clubs like brighton and West Ham trying to sign him next year, it’ll be better championship clubs.
