If Brighton still want Palmer then £50m now?

That would please me presuming he'd be happy with that. The thing with Palmer is that he doesn't cost us anything (much) in wages and amortisation and we don't need to generate cash. So maybe it makes more sense to keep him for peanuts, rather than take a chance on a new winger who is going to cost 50-80 million and 100K-200 a week, especially if we are splashing 80 million on Paqueta. And assuming Guardiola is willing to trust him as a starter in 10-15 games and as a cameo in another 20-30 or so. We will see soon enough, I suppose.
I am happy with that as well, although Cole could be the key to getting Paqueta. I don't believe Kalvin would be willing to move. We could always give Oscar Bobb a chance as the RW back-up.The thing with Palmer is that he doesn't cost us anything (much) in wages and amortisation and we don't need to generate cash. Yep gets expensive buying Coles replacement too. Also Cole then loses his free spot due to the new player. Would prefer him to stay think he'll be OK but we have other options if not.The thing with Palmer is that he doesn't cost us anything (much) in wages and amortisation and we don't need to generate cash.
