Palmer looks pretty good with and without the ball. I think for the most part.
I thought players ignored him when he had created space.

I don’t know what to make of pochetino. He motivates youngsters and I think that’s about it really.

According to Palmer, and the club have not disagreed with his statement, he asked for more playing time or an opportunity to go out on loan.
He was told he had to stay with the club or be sold.
So he didn't want to leave

No mate, I haven't. He didn't have to leave. He was given the option to stay or go. He chose to leave for more pay, playing time and a new direction, like you said.
I don't blame him in the slightest but it was his decision to do so.
I personally wished he would have stayed and was gutted at the time.

Really can't understand why the club dug their heels in about sending him out on loan..After watching him in the e.d.s for the last few years , it was always obvious he was a special talent who was likely to make it at the top level .
A season on loan somewhere like Brighton and you'd still have had a £40 million + player on your hands , then either cash in and sell him on or bring him back with a years worth of first team premier league experience under his belt ..

We don have a first 11, more of a first 15, and I think he would be used in our squad. I don’t think Real would sell him for less than €35mill which is double what they bought him for
