Yeah he’s done well to drag you up to mid table.
That’s not his fault. He’s done his part and he’s having an incredible season. Our defence falling apart and Poch being an awful coach isn’t his fault.

Community Shield. And they were not playing ultra low block with 10 in the penalty boxGiven that he’s the only player to have scored against Arsenal for us this season, in three meetings, one could argue to the contrary… ;-)
We put a strong side out and wanted to win it. He sat an international on his backside and bent the ball around a defender and beyond the keeper. Could have done with that at the weekend.Community Shield. And they were not playing ultra low block with 10 in the penalty box

Next season is the yard stick on how he is developing. To me it's what i think he will become. Pep has always loved clever pocket players...2 x more years studying the role under Pep- we would have had some number 10...and local..that's huge...good 10's cost £100m's now - i think he had a chance of that - 2 - 3 years down the line with us. I was not thinking this season
It’s something I’ve touched on as have one or two others. No doubt Cole's had a good first season so far for Chelsea but I'm curious to see if he can make the step up from being given carte blanche in an underperforming team to someone who has to perform a disciplined role in a functioning system.
or the next two after - probably get closer to prime around 25 - 27 yrs old though so maybe 3 more years RayNext season is the yard stick on how he is developing.
