Cole Palmer

Pep can’t do wrong for some here.
4 out of 4 top English league titles - never been done before.
Domestic treble - never been done before.
100 points in a season - never been before.
Treble - done once before.

Changed the way football is played in England from the PL down to non league.

Yep he has credit in the bank.

Sancho was another that he dropped the ball on. Just like Palmer. The player wanted more playing time and wasn't happy to do what Foden done. Sancho and Palmer made the right decision for themselves and why not. Even now I'm not sure Palmer would have been a starter for us - he's world class for Chelsea though - so fair play to him.

There’s a 250+ page thread about Gary fucking Neville on this site.

Keeping tabs on one of our Academy products and regretting how his transfer panned out is much less weird than talking about Gary fucking Neville every day, all year, every year.

Nobody goes on there going on about people with a weird Gary fucking Neville obsession though.

There’s a 220+ page thread of Jude fucking Bellingham on this site n’all. A load of fanboys of an absolute **** of a player, the most overhyped footballer I’ve ever seen, whose Dad called City a plastic club. Half the posters on his thread act like they want to stroke him off.

That’s even weirder than the Gary fucking Neville thread.
Not a fan of G Nev then?

He wasn’t open to a loan at all he told Pep play me or sell me He knew he had to get more game time or it would be too late
"The opinion I had is he wanted to leave, but now I don't know what's going to happen," the City boss said after that game. "I don't think a loan is going to happen. He's going to stay or leave, but I think a loan is not going to happen."

It has since emerged that a loan was Palmer's preference. Reflecting on the move to Chelsea during a January interview with Sky Sports, Palmer said: "My thing was never to leave City. That was not my intention [to leave]. I wanted to go on loan for a year, come back and be ready for the first team but he [Guardiola] said I can't go on loan. You either 'stay or you get sold.'"

Wish Spurs had signed him. The blow of losing Kane wouldn't have been so bad seeing him assist and bang in as many as he did. Probably the best English player out there at the moment and possibly one of the best in the league right now. Fair play to him.

Oh man. Love this lad so much. What a player. What a signing. I’m on cloud 9.

This feels like a London conspiracy. Have you two no compassion?…

Well he's the best fucking manager in the world.. occasionally he will make mistakes but he's got enough credit in the bank as far as I'm concerned.
I like Palmer and think he's a cracking player..but would he look half as good if he was playing against packed defences every week..Brighton were more open than a whores legs ..contrast that to Arsenal last week...
Probably not. But if it is true that he wanted to leave on loan to prove himself then come back in a year to show he is ready. but Pep being annoyed he didn't want to stay and take a bit part role decided he either stayed or be sold, then this one is squarely on Pep.

As what that would suggest is that Pep sold him out of arrogance rather than what's best for the club.
